    JR that was a great speech and I have watched it a number of times. It goes some way to restoring my faith in parliament. There are few great parliamentarians, Enoch Powell was one, and you too share that place.

    BTW Powell was a great man and he was not racialist. I always consider Edward Heath got rid of him for his views on Europe and used his infamous speech as the excuse. You to are on the back benches for the same reason?

    Here, here. Give us our referendum so we can be freed from the undemocratic costly nightmare of the EU.

    Some people would like to portray you as wooden and dry. Well let them see the passion and oratory displayed in this speech. Excellent.
