The Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Nick Clegg): As my right hon. Friend knows, we have already introduced a large set of measures that have removed a lot of unnecessary clutter from the statute book, and we will grab any further opportunities to do so with open arms.

I, for one, would like to know what has ben removed from the statute book. Clearly, Mr Clegg’s Right Honorable Friend knows (if i am to believe Cleggie). Perhaps he could let me know?

What about our Freedoms?
As you know, some of us are trapped by the lies of the Establishment! I’ve applied for over 10 contracts/jobs per day, for the last 4 years. Not one reply! But would I give up my Freedom, not a chance! I was a contractor for the 12 years before this started, so what has changed?
We are trapped by too much Regulation and Top-Down control!
If you Politicians can’t fight for them (our basic Freedoms), then you really must consider what you are doing!
Not just Regulation and control; DC should focus on ensuring access to the Framework of a Free country! Access to the Rule of Law (I worry about the Legal Aid bill?), access to the British Banking system, and access to Health and Education, etc … And then enshrine them within a British Bill of Rights!
Re: Rights gone Wrong, BBC1. Can common ground be sort with those signatories that have a written Constitution, suggesting that GB will need to be “Re-aligned” with it’s own Constitution and Bill of Rights?

Well John, with respect, what have they got rid of?
As for Clegg, I’m afraid I’ve no interest or faith in what he says at all. Who would believe him with his record? We can of course get rid of all the laws imposed upon us by leaving the EU, let us choose our own destiny. I note the PM as said the people of the Falkland islands have the right to detirmine their own destiny, which we fought for them to do, but we are denied the same right. Give us the referendum we have a right to and we can all say we truly live in a democracy.
