There was some good news yesterday. South West Trains responded to pleas that the coffee shop at the station be kept open for longer. They have agreed to extend the licence of the current shopkeeper from November, when they threatened closure. Thank you to them for seeing sense, and understanding that people do want some continuity of service whilst the station is being improved.
