Visit to Post Office

I visited Wokingham Post Office and sorting office this morning. It was busy but looked quietly efficient. The postal staff have delivered large volumes in the run up to Christmas, and reported a big increase in packages as more people buy more things on the internet.

I thanked them all on behalf of the constituency for their hard work, and wished them all a happy and relaxing Christmas next week.

We’ve rarely had problems with the English part of the postal service. Merry Christmas to all of them and Thank You.

DELETE THIS PART – “I thanks them all” – should read “I thanked them all” so just a small typo in your text.

Yes I visited the Wokingham post office too, to post some letters…… Mind you, with the higher than inflation price hikes, and huge investment in new sorting kit, we’d expect to see some improvement.
