A Merry Christmas to Dr Redwood and his family.

This is one of the few sites where sensible discussion seems to be the order of the day and it is remarkable that JR can find time to maintain it on almost a daily basis. Many thanks.

Reply Than ks to you and the others for the good wishes. I do write a piece for every day on this site.

merry xmas to you and your family, even though you disagree with my comments and disallow most of them. my xmas meal will be a “cheese and chutney” crisp sandwich. I am sure the (migrants ed) getting £20k a yr in benefits are having a lot better time than me. Its just a pity they didn’t pay in for 45 yr to be given nothing back. happy new year to you.

If you would have said a little earlier you could have joined in with my brood. All would have been welcome.I have just had the second Christmas lunch which was, better than the first , I have been there though and asI 20 years ago ,was serving out food , my knuckles were rapped for taking left over food which would otherwise have been given to the pigs.

Have a good day . I hope your turkey turned out better than mine.Luckily my son in law brought a beautifully cooked crown which complemented my chestnut stuffing very well.
Children and grandchildren now home and can settle down to finishing very expensive champagne which helps engender all the warmth I can summon, to wish all readers and especially you John,a fulfilling time with your nearest and dearest.Lots of love to all.

Merry Christmas. May the humanistic teachings of Jesus Christ, the source of modern democracy, humanitarianism and capitalism, continue to inform your political activities and shape them in the direction of compassionate conservatism.

How many turkeys will be left shortly after Easter? The goose we bought by mistake has been frozen and we will cook it then. Happy New Year and keep up the good work.
