I am grateful to the readers of Conservative Home for voting me their Conservative Parliamentarian of the Year, with 37% of the vote. Penny Mordaunt came second with 21%.

    So you won Parliamentarian of the Year.

    A solid victory by the looks of it, well done, and very many congratulations.

    What a shame Mr Cameron does not see what others do, and have you in his cabinet, where he could perhaps listen to your comments and thoughts rather more often.
