We now can see this government’s priorities. It is revealing to see how they wish to waste their limited supply of political capital.
1. Stop rich people giving money to rival political parties
2. Impose thousands of asylum seekers on small villages, overriding local opinion and Council planning powers.
3. Press on with give away of Chagos
4. Make more concessions to the EU against UK interests without getting anything back we want
5. Continuing the big increase in benefits for life for young people,removing the need for them to look for a job
6.Increasing the tax take from petrol and diesel by insisting on full VAT on the higher oil price, making the cost of living crisis worse
7. Accelerating the closure of our oil and gas industry by banning exploration, delaying production decisions on proven reserves and imposing penal tax levels
8. Failing to follow up the announcement of the end of rough sleeping with plans to impose a national solution in a policy area where Mayors and Councils have powers
9. Failure to explain how they will get to defence spending at 3% of GDP by 2030, the amount the Chancellor said was essential.
10. The failure to smash the gangs or stop the boats.

The total cost of the Thirlwall Inquiry has reached more than £18.5 million in public funds. Also about £5m in costs both sides for the 15 Lucy Letby convictions – all the convictions, in my view, totally wrong but most certainly all clearly unsafe. Yet 6 appeal court judges will not even grant her an appeal not even for any one of them.
What a sick rip and off joke (the now two tier too) legal system is. Are Court of Appeal judges and inquiry heads now appointed on Jason Arday criteria?
Justice Thirlwall herself sounds hugely unimpressive.

The hugely unimpressive Lady Justice Kathryn Thirlwall (in the Thirlwall Inquiry anyway) studied Modern Languages at Bristol before converting to law. Why do the government seem to think she is a suitable person to advise on how NHS maternity units might be better run. £39million that would have been far better spent on better and more staff at the many sick joke NHS maternity units perhaps rather than on lawyers.
CCTV over every cot might well do more harm than good and waste money that could be far more wisely spent.

I simply do not understand the thinking of so many MP’s now, because the policies they are supporting are so damaging to the future of our Country and its people.
I have lived within my means all my life, so why can the Country not live within its own, instead of borrowing and spending in my name, whilst forcing me to pay for that largess and incompetence.
Following the Party Line, often without debate, is not being loyal to the people who voted tfor them.
We are now an elected dictatorship without a rudder, and without any form of control.
It will all end in tears eventually, but not for those who make the rules that break us.

Good morning.
If you want to know the future, you must first look to the past. And the best places to look are where policies similar to those listed have been implemented. Places like, oh I do not know, Zimbabwe.
What we are witnessing is radical social engineering designed to destroy Capitalism and replace it with a larger state bureaucracy where, if you are not a servant of the State, you are in some way servile to it. ie Communism.
