When I moderate the postings I see the name and post as usual. I now see you cannot see all the names on the public version so will ask the webmaster to sort it out.

No worries, Sir John – it’s light relief to guess who’s who by their familiar style!
The general mood is ominous however, and I feel sorry for you having to preside over it all. Will we ever regain our collective sanity? Perhaps the Christmas message itself will illuminate our path, as per the last verse of the well known carol:
    O holy Child of Bethlehem
    Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
    Be born to us today
    We hear the Christmas angels
    The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
    Our Lord Emmanuel!

    Thank you, Sir John.

It is greatly appreciated that you personally read each of the postings. We are living through a time when we feel that our lone voices are otherwise being ignored.

Your lone voices are being ignored.

Sadly, the whole thing is surreal.

Have there been many outraged comments from those seething at their new-found anonymity?

Those complaining about moderation, delays and other comment issues are often good for a chuckle (I know this makes me a bad person).

I believe the moderation task means you have to put up with much nonsense (I do not except myself from amongst the guilty) and I appreciate your efforts for this diary is a tremendous resource of much value in this age of foolery.

A much bigger issue Sir John for the UK is why we still rank 35 out of 37 countries for full fibre infrastructure broadband as a strategic capability esp with Brexit and potential adversaries knocking out satellite broadband. Japan and South Korea have 95% as they envisaged this decades ago. Instead we build expensive roads and railways like money sink Crossrail etc. Please challenge this future requirement. Thank you.

Admit you are all controlled opposition for the Great Reset. Perhaps just controlled by being too polite to call it out? Prince Charles is running govt policy and you anti lockdown back benches look like rabbits in headlights.

The thing is though with controlled opposition, a group, a department etc has to read (and analyse ) the replies.
Algorithms cant think but people can.
The people analysing must surely see by now that something is amiss .
Once you see it, it cant be unseen.
BTW Did I have a hallucination the other day ? JR on one side on his own and the massed ranks of the opposition on the other debating Brexit.
Totally amazeballs. Excellent. Made my day.

Charles has now made an appeal in German to the German political class urging them to continue this Great Reset. This is becoming a farce John
