Role of Lords

This was wrongly posted this morning, clashing with a far more urgent piece. I have withdrawn it for a later date. Today we must debate Starmer’s sell out to the EU. I debated this last night at 10.20 on 5 Live.

I totally despair of this useless PM and useless government

He may be useless to the British people, but he’s delivering what his Masters have ordered. He will shortly be removed, having served his purpose, and we will then find out what reward they will bestow on him.

This sell out was expected – Starmer has already shown the direction he intends the UK to take and it is not one that fulfils the hopes and desires of most of the good people of this country.

As he loses more power to the hard line factions, his actions will likely get more extreme, taking us towards a full communist state.

It’s hard for most of us to see what appeal the EU has to those on the left. It’s more than just ‘Big is Better’ It’s about having others, a vast bureaucracy, make the important decisions for everyone, making it easy to follow orders and avoid responsibility. I liken it to the STARTREK dreamworld where everything is under the control of the state and everyone has wonderful fulfilling lives.
It’s all fantasy of course, a world like that could never function because it would destroy itself.

If we are thrust back into full EU control again it will destroy us too.

I remember in 2016 how Brexiters squealed “we must get out of the EU, so our Parliament can decide what international obligations we should by Treaty accept.” And our Parliament has decided to accept international obligations in a Treaty with the EU. And in 2026 Brexiters squeal “no, not THOSE international obligations”. Tough. You got Brexit. This is Brexit. Stop squealing

No one is complaing about Brexit, I doubt there are very few that regret having Autonomy for their country as opposed to being Governed by a cabal of unelected Eurocrats who we could never vote out of power. The fact that the U.K. was able to negotiate its own trade deals which now means the U.K. has a trade surplus as opposed to a deficit which was costing us 15-17 Billion a year in membership for the privilege is a no Brainer. Without Brexit Starmer could not have saved our last remaining steelworks in Scunthorpe yet another Bonus still waiting for someone to tell me how after over forty years of Membership of the E.U. how was this country better off being shackled as a vassal state. No regrets just wish we had Patriotic Politicians that took advantage of it and unshackled us completely from yet another one of their failed costly experiments.

No it isn’t and we are not squealing – be as creative as you like in your writing, but those of us that really care about the UK and the future of its indigenous people will continue to point out the mistakes and lies being used to take us ‘squealing’ into the arms of the British haters across the water.

It must be a strange feeling to see all the mediocre younger spad lords who have been enobled as voting fodder having finally got there after a lifetime in politics and business.

Does Starmer have the authority to sell out UK to EU given it was not in Labour Party manifesto and contradicts the result of the 2016 Brexit referendum result.

C: He also certainly does not have any authority to instigate or agree to any obstruction clauses written into his sell outs which will stymie any future government negating what he has set out to do to this country. Am I alone in detecting whenever he speaks, what appears to be an air of arrogance, confrontation and defiance.

With a knowledge of Sir Keir Starmer’s anti Brexit history and having seen his Chagos give-away deal it is not a surprise to see him wanting to resurrect PM May’s Brexit deal to make us a colony of the EU. It will also enable the ramping up of his sabotaging of our energy and industry. Socialism depends upon making and keeping people poor.
