Mr Windsor is interviewed

When I first wrote about Mr Windsor calling him that some of you objected. He has now been stripped of his titles and is we are told being questioned about his handling of government information when a Trade Envoy.

I will not be writing about his past actions nor about enquiries into them. These matters need to be looked into by those with access to the records and the courts will decide if any case is brought. Meanwhile Mr Windsor is innocent and of no significance to the government of the UK.

The question of what Mandelson said and did as Ambassador and as a Cabinet Minister under Brown is of more relevance and interest. We await the release of the documents ordered by Parliament.

Mr Windsor is Liebours squirrel to deflect from the Chagos debacle. The BBC is in full Republican mode with barely any reporting on the latest government cock ups.

Agreed: a wonderful dead cat for the MSM to obsess about instead of reporting on the Chagos debacle and the “curious case of the PM’s legal friends making a very pretty penny out of the policy.”

Re “the courts will decide if any case is brought” no that is the CPS, unless a private prosecution is brought.

Reply The courts will decide the verdict!

Indeed it is interesting that Gordon brown has weighed into the discussion of allegations against mr Windsor when you’d have thought it’s no more his business than anyone else’s. Perhaps it is a diversion tactic, as it was brown who brought mandelson back and put him into his most senior positions in the govt. It seems likely that mandelson had access to far more sensitive and confidential information than mr Windsor is ever likely to have had. Mr Windsor being a member of the royal family there is naturally a media focus on him. But the more serious issue for the public is the abuse of power which resulted from the culture of lying, spin and bullying which was such a feature of new labour under Blair and then brown. And appears, albeit far more incompetently, to be imitated by the present useless government.

Agreed. It is very strange that Brown has weighed in, whilst Brer Blair is layin’ low and sayin’ nuthin’ about Mandelson and Epstein. I guess he must think the Teflon is still non-stick.

We are being gaslit again in being told no-one is above the law. Countless people are above the law. Illegal immigrants, jihadis, left wing saboteurs, gang rapists, car thieves, telephone thieves, shop thieves, and of course people who mislead Parliament over the Chagos Islands. People who betray our national interest.

I agree, Lord Redwood, with your point about Prince Andrew being of no interest to HMG, but my goodness he is useful to them as scapegoat. The authorities have had 15 years to come up with their allegations. So has Brown. Then suddenly it all happens at 8am in a blaze of pre arranged publicity the day after HMG has been found to have misled Parliament and the Americans over the Chagos Islands. Also when the records of the gang rape trials are in danger of being deleted, and when there is a huge loss at the Bank of England which we must pay.

    I agree.

I feel rather sorry for him after all princes are brought up to feel rather entitled and he is a bit dim but he cannot really be blamed for that.

There is no shortage of men who are happy to buy sex and of women happy to sell it – it has always been thus.

Needless to say they did not handcuff him behind his back like Lucy Connolly or the obviously innocent/unsafe convictions of Lucy Letby.

Was it a political & police stunt to send so many police officers to arrest Mr Windsor

The New Aristocracy are deliberately raising the profile of Mr. Windsor to take the attention away from one of their own.

Since it was so easy to strip Andrew of his titles, I don’t understand why it is so difficult to give Harry the same treatment. The King needs to wake up. If he does not clean up the monarchy the Left will do it for him. And let’s have no more celebrating Islamic festivals either – or has it been made clear to the King that Starmer will support the monarchy only if he accepts the Islamification of Britain..
