People do not want to rejoin the EU

I have permission to reproduce charts compiled by Facts4eu, so will now publish relevant ones to add to what I write. I collaborate with them over some of their excellent research.

1. Would you support rejoining on today’s terms, without all our opt-outs?

As is habitual with Trump, when he realises that he’s gone over the top with his heavy criticism of America’s NATO allies, he doubles down. Trump has repeatedly blamed Zelenskyy for starting the war with Russia and is now, again, threatening to cut off intelligence that enables Ukraine to target the Russian oil refineries. Because Zelenskyy won’t stop bombing them

Trump’s failed war on Iran has resulted in the closure of the Strait of Hormuz for six months. This has enabled the global fossil fuel cartel – who never miss an opportunity for windfall profits – to inflict stonking price rises on us just as the northern hemisphere goes into winter

Apparently, Ukraine now needs a new president. Trump calls for Zelenskyy to resign after every “very good” telecon he has with his chum, the war criminal Putin. That will teach Zelenskyy not to stand up to Trump’s constant bullying! This is right out of Putin’s playbook

But Trump may have gone too far this time. As the American people decide who to vote for at their forthcoming mid-term elections, they will remember this weekend.

Trump is already making plans to seize ballot boxes after the polls close to secure “evidence” of electoral fraud, delaying the result for months. The Supreme Court – packed with Trump cronies – is on his side. We had better all start learning Russian.
