Labour damage the constitution and our traditions as well as the economy

The reason the Blair governments got re elected twice was they went lightly on the economy. They kept the much lower tax rates the Conservatives had adopted in the 1980s  and in their early years kept public spending under reasonable control in line with Conservative plans. It was only in the later years especially  under Brown they overspent, overborrowed and triggered a great banking crash.

It did not however prevent them undertaking serial constitutional harm. They gave large powers away to the EU and imported large swathes of EU regulation. They created the Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Parliament which contrary to their predictions gave a better platform to nationalist parties. Far from unlocking extra growth in these devolved areas Scotland’s growth fell behind England’s and Wales  made no breakthroughs.  It is true they secured majorities in referenda for these bodies so they will stay in place but that does not make them helpful economically in the way we were promised.  More government usually just means more costs and more bureaucracy. They spent a lot of time legislating to ban fox hunting against vocal rural opposition.

This government is even keener on constitutional change. They want to smuggle us back into the high charges and extra laws of the EU through their re set. They wish to give Chagos and Gibraltar away and want to block the Falklands getting out the oil that could transform its prospects. This is all against their Manifesto promises. They want to ban trail hunting. It tried to cancel local elections as part of a package to remodel Councils. It is planning to reorganise local government and create more elected mayoralties. They want to promote digital ID but are still trying to work out how it will differ from the system the government already offers and what it will be used for. They probably want to use digital ID to control our access to public services, just as they want to control our use of energy through smart meters. They are throwing lots of peers out of the House of Lords in a break with tradition. They seek to hound motorists off the roads with  road  closures, user  fees, fines and regulations. They want to abolish trial by jury for many cases undermining a crucial part of our history of personal rights and liberties.

They are also keen on more dying. They are going to legalise killing babies in the womb that could survive on their own. They want to allow assisted suicide. They want to ensure people do not keep packs of hounds.

There is so much to agree with in this entry – but there have been so many instances of government over-reach and bad ideological legislation, their sins against our freedoms alone fully detailed would give us many volumes to consider, and we haven’t even touched on the dire state of official enquires that lie dispirited for too long and either never achieve anything or are quickly forgotten by those who promised action.

In years to come, I predict about 100, when sanity has been reimposed on this world, there will not be a need for socialism in any form, and imagine how much better off we will all be. Imagine how much better we would be governed without ideology and incompetence. Imagine just how much more rewarding our lives could be, Go on, just imagine.

      Imagine there’s no heaven
      It’s easy if you try
      No hell below us
      Above us only sky
      Imagine all the people
      Living for today.
      Imagine there’s no countries
      It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
      And no religion too
      Imagine all the people
      Living life in peace, you.
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one …

It’s quite a catalogue of destruction. They are wreckers. Yet still, 18% of voters support them, another 18% support the even more radical Greens and 12% support the “we’ll go along with all that” Libdems. Half the electorate. Do all these people have a different world view to us, or have they been mislead?

They haven’t been misled Wanderer, they are simply very poorly informed, compounded by an almost complete lack of any interest. My sons don’t read newspapers, watch news on TV and seem to get (what little) information they do have on current affairs from Social Media. This weekend they didn’t seem to think that events in the Gulf would effect them that much and were more interested in whether their favoured football teams would be relegated or not. Unfortunately, none of us are insulated from rest of the world and eventually this fact will penetrate even the thickest of skulls – including those of my (otherwise wonderful) sons….

See David Starkey video Blair did more harm than Two World Wars. Alas in 14 years of Tories they undid virtually non of it and even build on his lunacy. I am perhaps a bit unfair they did abolish Hip Packs in part but the idiots even here kept EPC energy certificates!

The EPC certificate obliged people to put in cavity insulation, which when it breaks down allows moisture from the dew point to wick through into the house causing damp. The cost to remove it is enormous.

Indeed and now many people can only afford to heat one room & some not even that. Little point in insulation if you cannot afford to heat anyway. Other than for that one room!

They don’t want to defend us.
They don’t want to expose grooming gangs as it’s a cultural thing.
They don’t want us to have secure energy but want to double down on windmills and mirrors.

Basically John, Labour want to destroy the culture and traditions of the United Kingdom. They claim this removal of traditional British values and habits, will make the nation more aligned with global cultural norms. Labour are proud to be destroying our energy industry and importing unreliable technology from China that will provide energy sometimes when the weather is right.
They are proud to ban the manufacture of reliable transport options i.e. fossil fueled cars and vans essential and needed in rural areas that do not have rail or bus services.
They are proud to have blocked private sector landlords from wanting to provide private sector letting because it is now too challenging, unprofitable and surrounded with bureaucratic red tape that ignores market forces.
They are proud to have refused the most basic support for our key defence partner and crucial ally when asked if our air bases could be used by them in their time of need.
They are proud to champion growth, then do everything in their power to stop economic growth but to expand the growth in poverty and business failure.
The only areas of growth under this Labour administration is the size of the Public Sector, the size of the benefits community and the size of the national debt. Interest on that national debt is now the second largest public expenditure item of government, only exceeded by the NHS!
It is not possible to have a functioning society run in this manner for another three years.

Don’t forget that Bair/Brown were responsible for disguising the true level of their spending by using PFI schemes. I think the first time the IMF warned Brown that his tax/borrow/spending was giving cause for concern was 2003.

They only barely got a majority for the Welsh Senned – 0.5% on a low turnout – and the English have never voted to have their country broken-up into regions with Mayors.

Unfortunately, during the 14 yr opportunity they had, the Not-a-Conservative-Party did NOTHING to reverse the Blair/Brown Constitutional wreckage and a great deal to extend it. Which is why we now have Two-Tier making things even worse and the country is completely broken.

The Welsh and Scots are welcome to their regional assemblies, so long as they are paying for them. I suspect though it’s the English that have to make a contribution as well.

Odd that when I talk to individual Welsh people they complain about the blanket 20 mph sped limit, the state of the Welsh NHS which is even worse than that in England, assorted bans such as the new one on greyhound racing, and yet as a whole the majority continue to vote for the parties that implemented or support these policies.

Also interesting that the Labour line on the EU isn’t applied by them to Wales “Devolution has been an economic disaster for Wales so it should revert to direct rule from Westminster”.

Whether the Welsh actually voted for devolution is a moot point. The referendum was swung by 4 boxes found just before the end of the count, which had NOT been brought into the room. They were almost 100% for devolution amazingly. The referendum was won by a fraction of a percentage point.

There should be large posters up on billboards stating “Vote Labour & Murder Babies” because very few seem to understand the recent abortion law changes they recently slipped through. My son’s in-laws certainly didn’t when I mentioned it to them this weekend.
As the Grandparent of a lovely 3 year old who was born prematurely and that we have only thanks to our local NICU, I am truely appalled that it is now legal to abort children at full term. Mothers should have some rights of course but so must their children. They are not simply an inconvenience.

The Socialist and the WEF doctrine/teaching is that to build society in your own personal (very personal) image you must first destroy the fabric and stability of the existing.

Anyone in doubt about that being Parliaments and 2TK’s ‘Plan’ just reflect, what other reason can there be to taken up such a vindictive malicious destructive position against an entire population and country.

Every thing is playing into the great reset play book.
There are always situations in the World where a Parliament with its government through good management would be able to create an environment of un-phased continuation. That is what they are there for. They have a duty to keep the people and the country safe & secure, and ensure a resilient self-reliant future for all.

The fact that this Parliament has gone out of its way to administer malicious punishment on an entire population speaks loudly about their self-indulgent personal self-interest position. Nothing is about the country or its people it is self, self, self.

The situation in the Persian Gulf, Iran etc, would never affect the UK if its Parliament ‘worked’ for the nation and its people. Clearly, they are answering the question, it’s not incompetence, inability or even stupidity, it is the ‘Plan’

“Sir Keir Starmer is set to bring 76 European Union directives back on to the UK statute book as the Government seeks closer alignment to the single market.

The economy and our national security is being destroyed through de-industrialisation pretending to be decarbonisation and necessary to “save the planet”. But it is not just Labour that is to blame for this destruction but all the main political parties for the last 3 decades, the civil service, the quangos, the judiciary and last but certainly not least our national broadcaster. As well as sabotaging our energy and economy they are also destroying our social cohesion and national identity. Human Rights law is designed to protect minorities against majorities. As a globalist human rights lawyer who likes to follow international law you might think that our PM would be working to protect European peoples’ laws and culture, if not their very existence, from the global majority. But he is not.
